USMC OIF Gear Question?

I have a question for veterans of Operation: Iraqi Freedom, and researchers of the period.

Were any soldiers in the USMC at the time wearing Desert Marpat, and the woodland PASGT vest? Or was it just all woodland interceptors, and SOME coyote brown ones. I'm asking this question, because I remember reading (a long time ago) that troops and their families had to fund-raise in order to get better protection. If they did use the PASGT vest, then what LBVs did they wear over it? (ALICE, FLC, etc.)

Yes, they wore woodland PASGT vest in the early years with LVB over them. The the LVB was the Individual Integrated Fighting System (IIFS) introduced in 1988.
